We don’t advocate for skipping out on work, but if you were, say, having a case of the Mondays and needed to go outside, here is a hike for you. Using the Transit & Trails iPhone app makes it easy to quickly plan a trip outdoors and get ready to start the week (on Tuesday).
Golden Gate Bridge and the Ridge Trail
This can be a wonderful afternoon hike with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. On this hike you'll explore the beautiful Marin Headlands going through Rodeo Valley and then up to the ridge tops.
Much of the hike is on the Bay Area Ridge Trail. After a few hours in the Headlands you'll be city bound hiking along the iconic Golden Gate Bridge along the way eventually making your way to Crissy Field. There are restrooms and some services at Crissy Fields in case you want to have a snack or a drink.

Today we launched the iPhone app for our Transit & Trails website. We’re pretty excited about it. Every day this week we will profile a trip outside that you can do using the app (or website if you’re not an iPhone person). For more information about Transit and Trails click here.
