The Executive Committee and staff of the Open Space Council are very excited to announce the appointment of Jenn Fox as our new Executive Director.
Jenn brings strong leadership skills, a passion for open space protection and connecting people to land, and an infectious energy that we know will advance the mission of the organization. She has a thorough understanding of the complex challenges facing the Bay Area and has a proven track record of designing and implementing innovative conservation programs.
“The Bay Area is already a model for protected lands and public open space thanks to all of the work that the Open Space Council member organizations and partners do individually,” said Jenn. “It is exciting to join the Open Space Council now to continue the organization’s tradition of convening and leading, while building public recognition of and sustainable funding for stewardship and expansion of conservation lands.”
More about Jenn and her experience can be found on our website. Jenn will join the Open Space Council on November 5, 2012.
