Do you conduct research? Are you a scientist with a passion for Bay Area ecosystems?
Do you steward and manage land? Are you looking for cutting-edge information about the ecological issues you're facing?
Join us on November 15 for our Harvest Gathering as we discuss: Managing the Land with Science in Hand. From 10am-1pm at the Brower Center in Berkeley we will have a panel discussion about three Bay Area projects that bring together world class science with on-the-ground or in-the-marsh applications. We will learn more about:
- Santa Clara Valley Habitat Conservation Plan
- Argentine Ants on the Peninsula
- Sears Point Wetlands and Watersheds in Sonoma County
Sasha Gennet from The Nature Conservancy will moderate. Speakers for each project to be announced soon.
The Gathering will be from 10am-1pm at the Brower Center in downtown Berkeley. The program runs from 10am-12pm and lunch will be served from 12pm-1pm. The event is free and all are welcome. And there will be plenty of time for networking...
